the heritage building is beautiful! retro furniture and fittings are gorgeous. our room had a turntable and vinyls (how cool is that?). the rooftop bar was awesome.

the room overlooked a laneway with restaurants. it was a little noisy early in the morning.

The hotel is close to the train station. This made it easy to travel to the airport and other parts of the area. The hotel features a steampunk aesthetic with an industrial past. A rooftop pool is available. It is heated and allows city views.

The restaurant service proved slow. We had the same staff each day but got asked for our room number repeatedly.

the monday morning breakfast was a real letdown. i was the only one in the restaurant and waited over 20 minutes for eggs. when i asked, the waiter couldn't find my order. i canceled it, frustrating since i was in a hurry. also, the rooftop bar was closed . it impacted my overall experience and the potential to unwind after a long day.
